January 2009
On the 22th of January DR P4 had an interview with Johannes Abildtrup, who told about the AWE project.
AWE is now looking for contact with international humanitarian organizations, and will donate necessary land for construction of the rescue center and school on the ground in Komarock for the organizations that are willing to build the rescue center and/or a school on the site.
AWE has contacted participants in "The Denmark Collection" (Danmarksindsamlingen) and also had contact with international humanitarian organization in Nairobi.
The construction of the rescue center will be around 50.000 US dollar. Monthly expenses inc. food to 30 children is estimated to be about 1.800 US dollars pr. month.
AWE needs a pump for lifting water from the neighboring ground. We will now contact the relevant sponsors.
AWE has referred to Aarhus City Council in order to establish business to business and people to people contact between Nairobi and Aarhus.
Dan Jorgensen of the EU parliament will like the rest of the AWE crew be working towards getting new AWE members. Members decide the member fee themselves, however the minimum fee is DKK 50, - per. year.
AWE is purely voluntary staff and no administrative costs so that all amounts received will go uncut to the children and AIDS widows in Kenya.

November 2008
The situation for the children in Kenya is at the moment so dire that it might be necessary to set up a rescue center, before they can start an education.
We are currently working with realistic budgets for establishment and drift or the rescue center for 30 children and with room for expansion.
The AIDS widows have asked for more disposable land for growing crops other than the one acre which they already have. – see the application below.
